Components Company has been an integral part of the Southeastern Wisconsin community for nearly a century! With early locations in Milwaukee and our current, permanent campus here in Brookfield, we have long-lasting ties to these communities and actively work to support our neighbors in need!
Making It a Team Effort
Our entire team has donated their time and their talents to many charitable initiatives. As a company, we have donated food, water, and clothing to communities in need or experiencing disaster. Examples of this work include:
- Donating water and other needed supplies to flood victims in Burlington, WI
- Supporting local education and workforce efforts of the Waukesha County Technical Collage by sending our team members to help teach students
- Donating to the Make a Wish Foundation and participating in the annual Milwaukee Make-A-Wish Walk

Our Commitment to the Environment
- To reduce environmental impact through green initiatives.
- Use biodegradable and/or reusable containers.
- Consistently recycle cardboard, pallets, & scrap metal.
- Leverage large thermal windows to utilize natural light and improve employee work environment.
Our Commitment to Energy Efficiency
- Continuously find new ways to improve our operational efficiency, including lowering costs and reducing the environmental footprint of our operations.
- Installing and maintaining solar panels, reducing our reliance on conventional energy consumption by over 50 percent.
- Leveraging LED lighting throughout our entire facility to limit energy use.
- Installing and maintaining motion sensors to control internal facility lighting and limit energy use
- Maintaining a modern HVAC system with UV light to minimize airborne disease.
- Using highly efficient infrared heating elements and programmable thermostats.
- Optimizing our warehouse space to reduce energy waste
- Maintaining a hybrid vehicle charging station for our employees
- Routinely maintaining our machinery to improve their efficiency and limit their use of energy.

- Maintaining an effective, mature ISO system allowing us to optimize processes to ensure safety
- Implementing the 6S Method throughout our offices and facilities to maintain a safe and productive workspace.
- Continually reviewing and optimizing safety policies and procedures to meet new risks and compliance.

- Providing an Employee Suggestion Program that rewards individuals and teams for making innovative environmental and safety initiatives.
